  Just toss it all in there the same as you would on the stove. Crockpots are infallible. I swear. Best thing my grandma ever gave me. Its even better for red sauce which is meant to simmer all friggin day anyway! Fast cooking Italian food is a travesty that should be avoided at all cost.

    Stovetop I always browned the garlic,onions and chicken first. Guess you could still do that if you wanted to.
