      <description>When I crock things that are too big for the pot (that is, stick up in such a way that the lid won't seal) I wrap the top tightly with tinfoil.  That has worked every time - maybe you can do that until you get a new lid, if ever.</description>

      <description>Thanks, I'll try that.  Rival has this new replacements website, but they didn't have mine on it.  I considered getting a glass one that would hopefully fit, just so I could use the thing, but thought I should ask here first.  :)</description>

      <description>Yep, I dropped mine, on my toe, and it cracked in half (the lid, not the toe).  Now I'm having trouble finding a replacement.  Any ideas? &#xD;
