2 large russet or golden potatoes cut into chunks
3 cubes of vegetable bullion
three cups of water
3 italian sausages, sliced in half and cut into chunks
2 or 3 branches of broccoli, about 2 to 3 to potatoes, cut into chunks
one large red onion, diced
1 heaping tablespoon of minced garlic (to taste)
two large pinches of salt, to taste (the bullion adds salt, too)
half tablespoon of black ground pepper
2 bay leaves
2-4 hours on high (or low if you like the broccoli crunchy).
