Hi all!
I'm new here, and have been using the Crock Pot a lot - I just got my first 9-5 job ever, and not much time to cook. My question is, have any of you noticed a funny aftertaste in the food after it's been cooked a while? I have only noticed it with a few recipes, beef stew, chicken with wine sauce, a couple others, but it's strange. I thought maybe it was b/c I cooked the food on high, so I cooked the beef stew on low for about 12 hours. The beef, potatoes, carrots all taste fine but the potatoes have a weird aftertaste, the same one as before. I did a web search but it yielded nothing. Anyone got any clues? Thanks! ~Rebecca

Re: Funny aftertaste?
07/05potatoes tend to develope a strange after taste when rewarmed so perhaps this applies to the slow cooking because of the amount of time they are cooking. -
