I really like the recipes I found on www.fatfreevegan.com check there, they are easy and I could even find the ingriedents in rural Alabama.

Isn't allrecipes the best? I love that site. As for the pigs, they're omnivores - so it really depends on what the farmer chose to use for protein. Could be soy, could be animal products... if you know where your pig was farmed and how it was raised, you're probably good.

I think most of us around here enjoy a subtle *zing* now and then. I've use the lmgtfw site at least a half dozen times in past week. The allrecipes site had some great stuff. Thank you for the reminder. I tried out this black beans and sausage recipe yesterday. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Slow-Cooker-Creole-Black-Beans-and-Sausage/Detail.aspx Since I figure the pigs had probably been vegetarians, it was "vegetarian-once-removed". My own general rule is to only eat animals that only eat vegetables. :) p.
