Mon, September 7, 2009 - 12:25 PMinstead of a grassroots campaign to get us to stop using them...if it was stolen(or stold as you eloquently put it) don't you think, there would be a lawsuit???? -

Re: REYNOLDS STOLD THE CROCK POT LINER PATENT!!!!!!!!!!!
Mon, September 7, 2009 - 3:52 PMSo if no lawsuit exists you believe individuals should not address an issue that concerns them? Interesting... Guess it is cooler to just critisize someone for mistyping. Amazing -

Re: REYNOLDS STOLD THE CROCK POT LINER PATENT!!!!!!!!!!!
Wed, September 9, 2009 - 2:01 PMI'm sorry to see that all posts here are negative. However, that said . . . ! I have to say that most all well-known concepts were "stolen." Legally, you can't patent an idea. It's always too bad for whoever the person was who came up with the idea, but didn't get the credit for it. Still, if you look at almost any well-known product, including the light bulb, you will find that someone else actually came up with the concept/idea before the one who gets the credit for it.
Also, any time a big corporation is boycotted, it's the little guys who feel it way before the corporation feels any effect at all. It's the smaller assembly companies contracted to supply the product, it is their individual workers, the packaging companies and their individual workers, etc., who suffer. In my opinion, we need to think long and hard before we choose to boycott anything, however offensive we may find a product. The people we think will be hurting really don't care, until the guys under them are too badly hurt to keep their contracts. -
